Barnes Area Historical Association,
Inc. (BAHA) is a non-profit organization
dedicated to the education and preservation of the history of the Barnes Area.
The BAHA
monthly board meetings are usually held on the third Thursday of the
month at 9:00AM in Barnes at the VFW Hall on Lake Road. All BAHA members
are encouraged to come to these meetings and participate in the discussions. Our
first
and foremost project will be to continue to plan for our history center. The
Annual
Meeting is held on the third Thursday in October of each year at the VFW Hall.
We have our
501 (c) (3) number and are a valid non-profit organization. Any
donations made to BAHA are tax deductible.
We invite
everyone to join BAHA and participate in our projects.
Members do not need to
be current or former residents of Barnes. Single yearly membership is $15.00;
Family or
couple yearly membership is $25.00. Other membership categories are available
upon request.
